A family story is carried by people, memories and the values passed between generations. For the Srisukho family, with its roots in Phichit, two elephant siblings offer a welcoming way to share that story. Sir Dot, known in Thai as โอบอ้อม, and Lady Dottie, known as ไหมแพร, connect a family’s memories with the intention to greet people with thoughtfulness today.
The family roots in Phichit
Surgeon Dr Pattanat Srisukho and obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Chanwalee Srisukho are central to the Srisukho family story in Phichit. That connection continues through their son, Dr Chanesd Srisukho, founder of ScMc in Silom 9, Bangkok. Srisukho Hospital in Phichit and ScMc in Bangkok are distinct locations. The mascots provide a way to tell the family story that connects them, while keeping each place’s identity clear.
Remembering Grandmother Amporn
Another part of that story belongs to Grandmother Amporn Tancharoen, a dressmaker in old Bangkok. The attention involved in tailoring provides a meaningful image for the family: listening, noticing individual differences and taking care with details. It is a metaphor for personal attention, not a guarantee of medical outcomes. Decisions about medical care still require assessment and advice appropriate to each individual.
The siblings and their shared details
Sir Dot wears an ivory tailored jacket, deep green trousers and black loafers. Lady Dottie wears an ivory jacket, green skirt and green hair bow, with ivory flats decorated with brown bows. Their coordinated clothing expresses their sibling connection and recalls the tailoring thread in their grandmother’s story. Together, they represent the welcoming team and Product Specialist team, introducing family heritage through approachable characters.
Values that travel between generations
The siblings express four core values: Mindfulness, Quality, Kindness and Unity, or สติ คุณภาพ ไมตรี สามัคคี. Mindfulness invites attentive listening. Quality calls for care with details. Kindness means treating others with courtesy and respect. Unity recognises the importance of working together. These values form a shared language for the family story, giving visitors a clear introduction to what the characters represent.
A film dedicated to loved ones
A short film brings these connections together through creative scenes and AI-assisted animation. Original photographs remain static, and the animated scenes are artistic interpretations rather than historical recordings. The film is dedicated to Grandmother Amporn and her beloved white Thai cat, Kum Lai, both of whom have passed away. The memorial reads: “In loving memory of Grandmother Amporn and her beloved cat, Kum Lai. Forever in our hearts.”
Keeping the story close
Through Sir Dot and Lady Dottie, the family shares a story that reaches from a grandmother’s craft to its roots in Phichit and its connection with Bangkok. Watch the short film below to meet the siblings and explore the memories and values they carry.
