Srisukho Hospital in Phichit plans to introduce a Body Composition Analyzer as an additional part of patient care, including obesity care. Preparations are planned for the end of October 2026. The service start date remains subject to the hospital’s confirmation of readiness.
Body composition assessment will provide additional information for a physician to consider alongside a person’s health information and clinical assessment. A physician should explain the findings in the context of the individual. Results from the analyzer will not replace a medical assessment or be used on their own to determine a person’s care.
Once the service is ready, the hospital plans to use this assessment where appropriate for patients, including those receiving obesity care. The physician will consider whether it is suitable for each person and explain how the information relates to their care. The planned service will support physician-led assessment rather than a stand-alone interpretation of the analyzer’s results.
This planned addition is part of Srisukho Hospital’s work toward becoming a regional center for obesity care.
Please check the hospital’s official channels for readiness, the service start date and the confirmed service scope before seeking the service.
